India's digital identity stack is now live on Hopae Connect

The largest digital identity population on earth is now reachable through a single integration. Today, two of the world's largest identity rails are live on Hopae Connect - India's DigiLocker and India PAN.
India's Aadhaar is the world's largest digital identity program, with 1.45 billion individuals enrolled. DigiLocker and PAN are two pillars of India's digital identity stack, and both are now available to our customers through one API.
DigiLocker has more than 680 million enrolled and active users and was launched as part of India's Digital India initiative. Through DigiLocker, users can consent to share information from their Aadhaar Card.
On top of that, Hopae provides a selfie-to-Aadhaar-photo match, verifying the live user for biometric-grade, multi-factor assurance. Because every Aadhaar holder can instantly activate DigiLocker as part of the user flow, this effectively brings the full population of 1.45 billion within reach at high assurance.
India PAN is India's foundational tax identity, with more than 780 million issued. Instant PAN verification is essential for workforce onboarding and employment checks - a capability our customers can now offer natively.
With this addition, our customers reach the identity infrastructure of 1.45 billion people through the same single integration they already have.
