Hopae works with Google to bring Google Wallet credentials to Hopae Connect

Hopae is pleased to announce its collaboration with Google as an Aggregator for Google Wallet credentials, bringing one of the world’s leading mobile wallet ecosystems to Hopae Connect.
For businesses, this means a simpler way to verify trusted identity credentials from Google Wallet without building and maintaining a separate integration.
Through Hopae Connect, customers will be able to access Google Wallet credentials through the same single API they already use to connect to digital identity systems worldwide.
The initial coverage includes US mobile driver’s licenses and state IDs across eleven US States, as well as ID Pass and Aadhaar coverage across six major markets: the US, UK, Brazil, Singapore, Taiwan, and India.
This collaboration also reflects where digital identity is heading.
Wallet-based credentials are becoming a central part of how people prove who they are online and in person. As Google Wallet expands ID Pass worldwide, and as the EU moves toward EUDI Wallet adoption, Hopae Connect gives businesses a scalable way to access trusted credentials across markets, platforms, and use cases.
With this addition, Hopae customers can connect to Google Wallet credentials through one integration and prepare for the next phase of digital identity: mobile-native, wallet-based, and global.
