From eIDAS 2.0 in Europe to mDL pilots in the US and Korea’s ARF, governments worldwide are deploying national eID schemes to strengthen trust and efficiency that companies and end-users expect in digital interactions. At the same time, real-world use cases are rapidly emerging across industries.

As a result, adoption is accelerating rapidly, with 5.6 billion people expected to hold a digital ID by 2029, according to Juniper Research.
